Mark started playing drums at the age of 14. Growing up in rural Western Victoria this self taught drummer gained inspiration through listening to his now brother in laws Red Hot Chilli Peppers & Green Day CD’s.

Other influences that got mark to where he is today include Linkin Park, Sum 41, Blink 182 and Slipknot.

After several years playing as a self taught drummer Mark now studies under the legend Dan Kerby

(DK Drums) and is definitely taking his playing

to a whole new level.

 

Mark joined his first band 'Capone' in 2016 who held support slots with the likes of Drown This City,

The Beautiful Monument, The Brave & Ocean Grove.

Now playing with Melbourne's 'The City', this year is

set to be massive! Their self funded debut album which was recorded in Nashville is set for release and filming of their first single has just wrapped up.

​

Exciting times ahead for Mark and we're stoked to have him on the Big Sound Roster for 2018 and beyond!
