James Declan hails from Adelaide South Australia and has been passionate about drums since birth. At the age of four, he built a DIY drum kit and by the age of seven, he was competently playing gigs with his dad's band in and around Adelaide.

James has been entirely devoted to his love for drums, playing in churches and in multiple bands and as he grew older, he enjoyed a growing presence in the Adelaide music scene.

In 2022 James was invited to join the emerging signed band 'alt.' which has allowed him to tour both nationally and internationally performing in front of large audiences in both support and headlining roles.

James is currently an endorsee for Heartbeat Cymbals
