Originally from the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Drue first started playing drums at age 15 when his dad bought a drum kit home for him and his siblings to try. Within a few months he had learnt all of Metallica’s self titled album and had joined his first band, playing shows on the local scene where his parents would have to supervise 18+ shows. 

 

Now at age 27, Drue now plays in Melbourne bands Bad Juju and BLKLST and has toured nationally several times with both Australian and International bands. He has also been known to fill in for other local artists as a session drummer and play in wedding bands. 

 

Both Bad Juju and BLKLST have new music currently being recorded, so 2024 will see Drue playing plenty more shows across Australia, so keep your eyes peeled for new music and tour dates.
