Based on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, Bailey has been drumming since he was just 10 years of age. Hooked from his first lesson in Grade 5, Bailey has never looked back, drumming across the east coast. Originally from Victoria, Bailey's influences branched from Dave Grohl to Steve Gadd before he doubled down on local Australian talent like Lucius Borich, Dan Kerby and GFlip.
After completing a Diploma of Music Production at The Australian College of the Arts (Collarts), Bailey moved up north where he's reignited his musical career.
Over the years Bailey has featured in a variety of Melbourne bands in the rock, pop-punk and jazz scenes. Since moving interstate, Bailey now drums in two Sunny Coast lineups: Total Radio Silence and The Sundowners.
Whilst drumming is his passion first and foremost Bailey has recently started a podcast, called Ask a Muso, which continues to feature a catalogue of local and international musical identities and talent. Along with his band projects, Bailey also has multiple collaboration projects in the works and still has a fair bit to do with his Melbourne contacts, supporting emerging hip-hop artist, Mythic, at his debut EP launch and working with a close friend from the pop-punk scene to write and record original music.
"I snagged myself a musical lottery ticket when I moved interstate in 2019 so to now be a part of the BSP family is a fantastic opportunity. I can’t wait for what the future brings.”
